Zehnacker Ireland Healthcare’s ‘Zen Café’ is very proud to announce that we are the first major hospital café to use a fully compostable paper cup & lid for all of its hot beverages and soups.
We will simultaneously launch a waste point in Zen Café for used cups & lids and other compostable food waste to organic composting bins, rather than losing them to landfill.
There is no cleaning or washing of the compostable cups, they can be put straight into the compost bin with any remaining liquid or food and will decompose together. Customer participation is an easy One-Step process!
